Transplant Type - Kidney

In 2009, Arbedale was hospitalized and nearly lost her life, as her kidneys were functioning at just 7%. She has since been diagnosed with a blood disorder that has damaged her kidneys, and doctors now say a kidney transplant is essential. While awaiting her transplant, she endures regular dialysis treatments, which take a toll on her survival.

This has been a difficult time for Arbedale and her family, especially her two sons, who simply want to see their mother well again. Before her health began to decline, she led an active life and loved water aerobics, taking walks, traveling and bowling. Sadly, her activities are extremely limited these days because she’s often weak and exhausted. After receiving her transplant, she looks forward to traveling to see family and enjoying the things she has missed for the last five years. More than anything, she wants to live a normal life again, but right now, she needs your help. - See more at: http://patients.transplants.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=485635&supid=419751506#sthash.GQAhlU1M.dpuf

Have you ever had a Dreamers Dream

Have you ever had a dreamers dream?

Because if you have you know what it's like to want something so bad you could taste it. It doesn't have to be something expensive or anything of monetary value. You see we all have things we have hopes of accomplishing things in our life. For some its to see that far away place or that tropical island or perhaps its to see a loved one not seen for some time.

A dreamers dream keeps us hoping and longing for something that we want to attain. One could say they have a thirst for that one thing you long to do see taste or feel.

Willie Wonka said it best "We are the makers of dreams the dreamer of dreams"

I challenge you to be dreamers; I challenge you to be doers and let us make the greatest place in the world even better.

Writers write. Dreamers talk about it.

Have you ever been a dreamers dreamer? Yes I have. To me dreaming is an escape to a place of fulfillment and excitement. you can visit anyplace you like in your own mind. I also love the fact that dreams can become realities. The big quest is how bad do you want it? What will you do to take your dreams to the next level. Will you be an action taker or perhaps you want to just be a professional dreamer it makes you happy in it of itself. One great factor is everyone has the right and the option to do and and be anything their heart desires.
For me I choose to keep dreaming and keep forging forward towards my dreams I am a person that want to live her dreams and step into my own dream place.

To you personally live your own dreams and your own truths. Just be you and be happy.

6 Tips for Maximum Winter Warmth with Minimum Costs

6 Tips for Maximum Winter Warmth with Minimum Costs

1. Sunny Side Open – Use the sun for free heat. Open
curtains and blinds with sunny exposure to let in light and heat during
the day, then close them at night to retain heat.

2. Bundle Up – Instead of turning up the thermostat, put on a sweater. Keep blankets on your couch, and use rugs to insulate floors.

3.  Go in Reverse – If you have reversible ceiling fans, use the clockwise setting to keep warm air circulating instead of rising to the ceiling.

4. Clean Your Furnace – Make sure your filters are replaced regularly, and make sure all air intakes and vents are unblocked.

5. Keep it Humid – Use a humidifier to add moisture to the air. Moist air retains heat better than dry air.

6. Add Insulation – Adding weather stripping and thermal curtains are quick, easy ways to reduce heat loss.

Does Chantix really work? Can you really quit smoking

Does Chantix really work? Can you really quit smoking

After thirty seven long years I have been smoke free for just over a month now. Has it been easy?

In my 37 years of smoking I have only decided to quick on at best 4 occasions. two were during my pregnancies of my sons. and the other couple of times was when I had been the but of many family conversations over the year's from my kids and some of my siblings/family members and friends. The big question has always been? When are you gonna stop smoking??????

So both of the other times was because someone else wanted me to quit, and I on the other hand was in not ready to stop. The truth of the matter is , is that I really enjoyed a good smoke its kinda like good love making. Yeap pun intended. lol

This time was very different. How so because it's something I wanted to do I made it up in my mind that I was ready to quit. So for the first 3 weeks I used Chantix as I had done so in the past. What I did learn previously from using it, is that with your combined effort of will and chantix you can be smoke free. To me It works very Well.

By the third week I started to feel like I really didn't need the Chantix any longer not because it wasn't helping but because I didn't want to have something else that would allow me to be dependent on it something else yet again. Thirty Seven  years a is long enough to be a slave to something that is really bad for you.

I won't say that I don't get urges and have a its a "cigarette moment". Yes I certainly do.

So, in my fourth week I went to the Hookah Shop and purchase myself an e cigarette in apple oil vapors. and it really got me past the point of I want a cigarette urge. Now I am just a few days out with regard to giving it up as well (e vapors) but what I can say is that it has made my transition that much more smooth in terms of kicking the thirty seven year yr bout with smoking.

What I can say is that the last straw for me was the smell. It was really starting to get to me even after all these years.  I hated that God awful smell.  So what smoking element did I use to kick the habit. In the end it was the smell of it... I used that element to my cause me to give it up!. I made that the reason It would work for me..Quest what it worked.!!!

But the most important aspect of it all is that I must give all my credit to God, I asked God to take the taste out of my mouth- the thought out of my mind and let me move forward with out this old habit. God has given me favor on this one I no longer crave cigarettes at all. Amen.

(Has it been easy) That is a two sided coin

Why because although in studies it often times will say that cigarettes are a very hard to habit to kick, and mainly because of the drug called nicotine. in my opinion It is as addictive as any other drugs like crack cocaine heroin methamphetamine  and so on and so forth. But just like with any drug the drive and determination must first begin with the user of said drug.

o for this reason alone is why it became so easy to me. I am now nicotine free and loving it. I can breath and my food taste so much better. You don't really realize that you give up a lot of your senses of smell and taste when you smoke for such a long period of time.

For me I have a multitude of illness and many are not in my control. But giving up on the cigarettes has always been in my control and my reach..

Thank you for stopping by to read my Press Release. And to those that does smoke it's your choice. choose something you dislike about smoking and use it to your advantage. Good Luck to you
